At PCS we are proud of our workforce, particularly our trainees, who consistently demonstrate enthusiasm, diligence, and a strong commitment to learning and growth.
A great example of this is Sam Tegart, who is just starting his third-year traineeship.
Sam applied to PCS having already tried a few things that weren’t really for him, but in the process gained some valuable life experiences.
Sam’s journey has had its twists and turns and dead ends, but Year 2 ended with his training provider awarding Sam runner-up, Apprentice of the Year.
Sam commented on his apprenticeship “I’ve really enjoyed my apprenticeship with PCS. I’ve been trusted with tasks of all kinds and feel valued in the team. We have a great atmosphere and everyone at PCS is easy to get on with. I am hoping that sooner rather than later I can complete further professional courses such as the 2391 inspection and testing, and move on to the HNC/HND Electrical Engineering qualifications and join the 7 other fantastic Electrical Engineers at PCS. I would recommend PCS to any apprentice as the range of work is great, there are lots of good electricians to learn from and there is a great atmosphere for work and learning“
Well done Sam… you’re an example to us all.
